Big White Info & Maps


The two biggest reasons people come to Big White is the snow and the skiiable terrain. On average 24.5 ft/ 7.5 meters of dry "champagne" powder lands on 145 well laid out trails .(18% Beginner, 56% Intermediate, 26%Expert) The longest run being over 4.5 miles/ 7.2 kilometers.  Fifteen chairlifts move people up the hill with a capacity of 25,400 skiers per hour. The resort area covers over 7000 acres and the summit of the hill rests at 7,600 ft. above sea level.
 

TELUS PARK:
Olympic-size 500 foot-long Super Pipe with 17-foot transitional walls.

Standard-size Half Pipe with 12 walls, 400 feet in length. Boarder/Skier-Cross course that can be tuned up to run regional, national, and even World Cup events.  B eginner/intermediate and intermediate/advanced lanes combined with rails and hits.

Cross Country:
Big White offers 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) of incredible Nordic trails groomed with state of the art grooming equipment for both skate and classic technique

Big White ski resort is well known for the variety of terrain available to skiers. There are plenty of runs to satisfy the novice skier just learning, the intermediate skier, and the most advanced skier. Weather is seldom a problem and plenty of sunshine are the norm.
