The two biggest reasons people come to Big White is the snow and the skiiable terrain. On average 24.5 ft/ 7.5 meters of dry "champagne" powder lands on 139 well laid out trails. The longest run being over 4.5 miles/ 7.2 kilometers. Thirteen chairlifts move people up the hill with a capacity of 23,400 skiers per hour. The resort area covers over 7000 acres and the summit of the hill rests at 7,600 ft. above sea level.
Big White ski resort is well known for the variety of terrain available to skiers. There are plenty of runs to satisfy the novices skier just learning, the intermediate skier, and the most advanced skier. Weather is seldom a problem and plenty of sunshine are the norm. And don't forget for those of you buying real estate, Big White is truly a "ski in/out" mountain from virtually any building on the hill!!
